Scripture Study

********************************************************
My current Old Testament progress:
Leviticus 5
********************************************************

As I was reading the VT message this month, President Gordon B. Hinckley's statement really struck me:

"I hope that [scripture study] will become something far more enjoyable than a duty; that, rather, it will become a love affair with the word of God. I promise you that as you read, your minds will be enlightened and your spirits will be lifted. At first it may seem tedious, but that will change into a wondrous experience with thoughts and words of things divine."

I know I'm "just" reading the Old Testament. It's not nearly as exciting as the other canons of scripture, in my opinion, and contains the "old" law, but I'm really feeling the enlightenment and lift that he mentioned.

My life has changed for the better since I began reading.
